Where the corner text sits
Corner text takes one PDF and a field named text. The label is Corner text. The worker trims the text. Empty text stops with "Enter corner text." More than 40 characters stops with "Use 40 characters or fewer." The download is one file named corner.pdf. The worker loads the file with pdf-lib and embeds Helvetica at 12 points. The color is black. The text stays upright and is not rotated into a diagonal watermark. Add watermark stamps gray text at -32 degrees with opacity 0.35. The line sits at the bottom right of every page. The right edge of the text is 36 points from the right edge. On a page at least 72 points tall, the baseline is 36 points from the bottom. On a page shorter than 72 points, the baseline is 8 points from the bottom. A page of exactly 72 points still uses 36. A page of 200 by 100 points keeps that size. Text already on the page stays. A word that says OLD still says OLD. The title Keep Title stays. The tool does not remove existing text and does not add a form field. Page X of Y draws a fixed line at the bottom center and has no text field. This page writes the text you typed on every page.
The line is drawn in this browser tab with the open-source workers. The file is not uploaded. There is no GridFS copy. Open the network panel, drop the file, and the PDF should not appear as an upload. Closing the tab drops the copy. The browser downloads corner.pdf. Add watermark writes watermarked.pdf. Page X of Y writes numbered.pdf. The Word page at /pdf-to-word uploads.
There is no page cap on this draw. The tab has to hold the file. There is no account on this page. This page does not need a pass. A day pass is $6, charged once, for 24 hours, and it does not renew. A year is $60 for 365 days. Neither charge is required to draw corner text here. The 20-page server cap is not this tool. That cap belongs to PDF to Word, OCR, and heavy compress.
An empty file stops with "This PDF could not be read." Bytes that are not a PDF stop with the same sentence. A file with no pages stops with "This PDF has no pages." Empty corner text stops with "Enter corner text." More than 40 characters stops with "Use 40 characters or fewer." A locked file, opened without its password, stops with "Expected instance of PDFDict, but got instance of undefined". Unlock PDF is the separate page. This page does not ask for a password and does not guess one.
Steps
- Drop the file. It stays in this tab.
- Set the one option on the page, if it has one.
- Download the result. Closing the tab drops the copy.
