How to remove document properties from a PDF
Document properties are the details a PDF reader shows under Document Properties: title, author, subject, keywords, the app that created the file, the app that saved it, the created date and the changed date. This tool clears them. After you run it, those fields should look empty. The tool also avoids writing its own name into the file. Your pages, text, page count and page size stay the same. Comments, attachments, bookmarks and digital signatures stay too. Some PDFs also keep a second, hidden copy of these details. This tool leaves that copy alone, so special software can still read it.
