What this zip holds

One page PDFs takes one PDF and writes one file for each page. There is no page field and no count field. The download is one zip named pages.zip. The first file inside is page-1.pdf and the next file is page-2.pdf. Later pages keep counting, so the third page is page-3.pdf. The worker loads the file with pdf-lib and copies that page into a new PDF. The page box stays. Text that was drawn stays. A rotation stays on that page. A link stays on that page. fflate then packs the new files. A file of three pages that say ONE, TWO, and THREE becomes three files. page-1.pdf holds ONE and still measures 200 by 100 points. page-2.pdf holds TWO and still measures 300 by 150 points. page-3.pdf holds THREE, still measures 400 by 200 points, and keeps a rotation of 90 degrees. A link on the first page stays inside page-1.pdf. The document title Keep Title is copied onto each new file. The author is not copied. A one-page file becomes a zip that holds only page-1.pdf. This is not Split PDF. That page can save each page as its own download, and it can also keep a range or make one cut. This page always packs pages.zip and does not ask for a range. This is not Split every N PDF. That page packs chunks of at most N pages into parts.zip, and a chunk may hold more than one page. Each file here holds one page. The original file on disk is not rewritten.

The packing runs in this tab with the open-source workers. The file is not uploaded. There is no GridFS copy. Closing the tab drops the copy. The browser downloads pages.zip. Split PDF can save separate files. Split every N PDF packs parts.zip. The Word page at /pdf-to-word uploads.

There is no page cap on this packing. The tab has to hold the file and the zip. This page does not need a pass. A day pass is $6, charged once, for 24 hours, and it does not renew. A year is $60 for 365 days. Neither charge is required to pack pages.zip here. The 20-page server cap is not this tool. That cap belongs to PDF to Word, OCR, and heavy compress.

An empty file stops with "This PDF could not be read." Bytes that are not a PDF stop with "This PDF could not be read." A file with no pages stops with "This PDF has no pages." A locked file, opened without its password, stops with "Expected instance of PDFDict, but got instance of undefined". Unlock PDF is the separate page. This page does not ask for a password and does not guess one.

Steps

  1. Drop the file. It stays in this tab.
  2. Set the one option on the page, if it has one.
  3. Download the result. Closing the tab drops the copy.
