What this organize changes

Organize PDF takes one PDF and makes one new PDF. After the file is chosen, the page lists every page. Each row can rotate, delete, or move. Rotate steps clockwise through 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°, then back to 0°. The label shows 0° or the degrees with clockwise. Delete marks the row Will be deleted, and that mark can be undone. Move up and move down change the order. The first row cannot move up. The last row cannot move down. There is no drag handle and no sort by name. A page cannot be listed twice. The download is one PDF named organized.pdf. It is not a zip. Deleted pages are left out. Kept pages stay in the order shown, and rotation is applied to those pages. Pages are copied, not redrawn as pictures, so selectable text stays selectable. Nothing is downsampled. No PDF Commons watermark is added.

The work runs in this browser tab, on one PDF. The file is not uploaded. Open the network panel, drop the file, and the PDF should not appear as an upload. Closing the tab drops the copy. The original file on the computer is not rewritten. No server holds a copy.

There is no published page cap and no file-size cap for organize. The tab has to hold the file. This local tool has no account and no daily cap. A day pass is $6 and does not renew. A year is $60. Neither charge is required to organize here. The free server file is PDF to Word, one file, up to 20 pages, and that page uploads. Organize is not that server job. OCR and heavy compress are not free.

Submitting before the list is ready fails with The page list is not ready. An empty PDF fails, and deleting every page fails, both with A PDF needs at least one page. A page number that is not in the file fails with Name a page that exists. Rotation has to be 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. This page does not ask for a password and does not remove one. A locked PDF stops, because the worker cannot copy an encrypted page. The failure is the worker error. It does not guess a password. Unlock PDF is the separate page, and it only works with a password you already know. The result is not Word and not a JPEG. Split PDF cuts a file into pieces. Merge PDF joins files. PDF to JPG makes pictures.

Steps

  1. Drop the file. It stays in this tab.
  2. Set the one option on the page, if it has one.
  3. Download the result. Closing the tab drops the copy.

Questions

How do the pages get their order?

Move up and move down change the rows. There is no drag handle and no sort by name. Each row keeps its original page number. Rows marked Will be deleted are left out of organized.pdf. The rest stay in the order shown.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Organize stays in this tab. Open the network panel, drop the file, and the PDF should not appear as an upload. Closing the tab drops the copy. The download is one PDF named organized.pdf, not a zip. PDF to Word is the page that uploads, one file, up to 20 pages.

What does one rotate click do?

It steps that page clockwise through 0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°, then back to 0°. The turn stays on that page when the row moves, and it is applied only when the page is kept. The page is copied, not redrawn as a picture, so selectable text stays selectable.

Do I need an account to organize?

No. This page has no account. A day pass is $6 and does not renew. A year is $60. Neither charge is required to organize here. You need one of those only for a server job such as OCR, heavy compress, or a PDF to Word after the free file.
