How to make a PDF have an even number of pages

Make PDF page count even checks how many pages your file has. If the count is odd, it adds one blank page at the end, so you finish on an even number. If the count is already even, nothing is added. The blank page is the same size as your last page. This helps when you print on both sides of the paper and need every sheet to have a back. The words stay real text you can select and search, links keep working, and page sizes stay the same.

Your file stays on your device. It is never uploaded, so contracts, statements and scans stay private. The new file downloads as even.pdf, and your original is not changed. Close the tab and nothing is left behind. We never add a watermark or ask for your email.

It's free. You don't need an account, there is no daily limit, and we never add a watermark. You can use it as many times as you like. There is no page limit either. Very large files depend on your device's memory, so close other tabs if a big file feels slow.

If it doesn't work, check the file first. A password-protected PDF can't be opened here, so unlock it with Unlock PDF and try again. A damaged file, or a file that isn't a PDF, can't be read either, so try a fresh copy. Still stuck? Try the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. For booklet counts, use the Pad PDF to a multiple of 4, 8 or 16 pages tools. To add one blank page every time, use Add blank page at end.
