PDF to PNG
Each page becomes a PNG picture in this tab, and the text in that picture is not selectable. Several pages download as a zip. This tab stops at 30 pages. The file is not uploaded.
A $6 day pass is 24 hours, charged once, and it does not renew. Pricing

How a PDF page becomes a PNG
On this page, PDF to PNG draws each page as a PNG. One page downloads as page-1.png. Two or more pages download as pages.zip, with page-1.png, page-2.png, and so on, in the file's page order. The tool does not sort pages. The picture is drawn at twice the page size, then the long side is kept at or under 2400 pixels. The page is painted on white first, so a transparent area becomes white. PNG encoding does not use JPEG quality 0.92. That 0.92 setting is only for PDF to JPG. Words that were selectable in the PDF are not selectable in the PNG, because the page is now a picture. The tool does not read the letters. It does not add a PDF Commons watermark, a logo, or a trial line.
The drawing runs in this browser tab. The PDF is not uploaded. Open the network panel, choose the file, and it should not appear as an upload. The pictures are made in the tab and handed back as a download. Closing the tab drops the copies. No server keeps a copy, because the file never left this computer. The original file on the computer is not rewritten.
This page has no account and no daily cap. This tab rasterizes up to 30 pages. A longer file stops before any picture is saved, and the page says This tab rasterizes up to 30 pages. Split the PDF first. A day pass is $6 and does not renew. A year is $60. Neither charge is required to make the pictures here. The free server file is PDF to Word, one file, up to 20 pages, and that page uploads. PDF to PNG is not that offer.
An empty file stops. An unreadable file stops. A file with no pages stops. A locked PDF stops. The worker message for a password-protected file is This PDF is protected. Unlock it in this tab first. The tool does not guess a password. Unlock PDF only works with a password the visitor already knows. Split PDF stays in this tab and can cut a long file into a shorter part. PNG to PDF is the opposite direction: it builds a PDF from PNG files and does not use the 30-page raster cap or the 2400-pixel edge. OCR reads pictures of text, uploads, and needs a $6 day pass or the $60 year.
Steps
- Drop the file. It stays in this tab.
- Set the one option on the page, if it has one.
- Download the result. Closing the tab drops the copy.
