What this quarter turn changes

Rotate PDF 90 takes one PDF and shows no extra form field. The download is one file named rotated-90.pdf. The worker loads the file with pdf-lib and adds 90 degrees to the rotation flag on every page, then normalizes that flag to 0, 90, 180, or 270. It does not rewrite the content stream, rebuild the page, or change the media box. A page that is 200 by 100 points stays 200 by 100 points, and a flag of 0 becomes 90. A square page still changes the flag, so a square at 0 becomes 90 even though its displayed sides already match. A page at 90 becomes 180, a page at 180 becomes 270, and a page at 270 becomes 0. An angle that is not a quarter turn is rounded to the nearest of those four before the extra 90 degrees is applied. Text that says ONE stays in the content stream. The document title stays Keep Title. A link stays on its page. This is not Organize PDF, which rotates one chosen page by hand. This is not Orient PDF, which turns only a mismatched page and leaves a square alone. Resize PDF fits Letter or A4. Scale PDF multiplies the page box. Booklet PDF rearranges pages for a fold. Nothing is rasterized, so the words stay selectable.

A locked file, opened without its password, stops with "Expected instance of PDFDict, but got instance of undefined". Unlock PDF is the separate page. Questions

Does every page turn, including a square?

Yes. Every page gets 90 degrees added to its rotation flag, then the flag is normalized to 0, 90, 180, or 270. A square page still changes. The media box stays the same size. The content stream is not rewritten. Orient PDF leaves a matching page alone.

Is the PDF uploaded?

Do the words and the page size stay?
