How to add a blank page to the end of a PDF

This tool adds one empty page after the last page of your PDF. The new page is US Letter size, 8.5 by 11 inches, in portrait, and nothing is printed on the page. It is handy for a notes page, a signature page, or a sheet to finish an even page count. Your page count goes up by one. Every earlier page stays in order, and the words stay real text you can select and search, links keep working, and page sizes stay the same. The new page is always Letter, even when your last page is a different size.

Your file stays on your device. It is never uploaded, so contracts, statements and scans stay private. The new file downloads as append-blank.pdf, and your original is not changed. Close the tab and nothing is left behind. We never add a watermark or ask for your email.

It's free. You don't need an account, there is no daily limit, and we never add a watermark. You can use it as many times as you like. There is no page limit either. Very large files depend on your device's memory, so close other tabs if a big file feels slow.

If it doesn't work, check the file first. A password-protected PDF can't be opened here, so unlock it with Unlock PDF and try again. A damaged file, or a file that isn't a PDF, can't be read either, so try a fresh copy. Still stuck? Try the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. To match the size of the page next to it, use Add a blank page to PDF. To add one at the front, use Add blank page at start. To add a titled page, use Add cover page.
