How to delete odd pages from a PDF
Add your PDF and every odd page is removed. There is nothing to type. Counting starts at 1, so pages 1, 3, 5 and so on go, and pages 2, 4, 6 and so on stay in the same order. A four-page file becomes two pages: the old pages 2 and 4. A two-page file keeps only page 2. Text stays selectable, links on kept pages still work, and page sizes, sideways pages and the document title stay as they were. Nothing is turned into a picture. You get one file, even-pages.pdf. To keep either side by choice, use Extract odd or even pages from a PDF. Use it when the pages you want are the even ones, such as the back sides of a two-sided scan.

A one-page file stops, because removing its only odd page would leave nothing, and a PDF needs at least one page. If your file cannot be read, it may be damaged or not a PDF, so try another copy. If the result is not what you expected, check its page count in your viewer, then try again with your original file, which is never changed.

Which pages stay when I delete the odd pages?
The even pages, counted from 1. A four-page file keeps pages 2 and 4. A two-page file keeps page 2. A one-page file cannot lose its only page. There is no page box to fill in.
