How to add a footer to a PDF
Add a footer puts one line of text at the bottom center of every page. Type up to 80 characters, like a company name, a date, or "Internal use only". Extra spaces at the start and end are removed. The same line goes on every page, in plain black 12-point text, about half an inch above the bottom edge. On a very short page it sits closer to the edge. It's real text, so you can select and search it. Your pages stay as they are, and the text already on them is kept. The footer is not a form field. This tool writes only the words you type, so it does not add "Page 1 of 10". For that, use Page X of Y. For plain numbers, use Add page numbers. You get one file named footered.pdf, and your original is not changed.
