How to change the subject of a PDF
The subject is a short line that describes what your PDF is about. Many PDF readers show it in Document Properties. This tool changes it to the text you type. Spaces at the start and end are trimmed, and the subject can be up to 200 characters. The title, author, keywords and dates stay as they were. So do the pages, text and links. Text stays selectable, and nothing is turned into a picture. You download subject.pdf. Your original file is not changed. Some PDFs keep a second copy of these details in extra hidden data. This tool does not change that copy. A clear subject helps you and others tell similar files apart in Document Properties.
