How to swap the first and last page of a PDF
This tool makes the first page and the last page of your PDF trade places. The old page 1 becomes the last page, and the old last page becomes page 1. Every page in between stays right where it was. Use it when a cover page ended up at the back, or a closing page ended up at the front, after a scan or a merge. A one-page PDF comes back unchanged. Pages are not redrawn, so text stays sharp and selectable and pictures keep their quality. Choose your file, and the new PDF downloads as swapped-ends.pdf.
Your file stays on your device. Swapping the first and last pages happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. To check, open your browser's network panel, add a file, and watch for uploads. You will not see one. The new PDF downloads as swapped-ends.pdf. When you close the tab, the copy in your browser is gone.
This tool is free. There is no account, no daily limit, and no watermark on the file you download. There is no page limit. Very large files depend on your device's memory, so a big scan may be slow on a phone.
If nothing downloads, the file may be damaged, or it may not be a PDF. Try another copy. If your PDF will not open, it may be password-protected. Unlock it first with Unlock PDF, then try again. To swap any two pages you choose, use the swap tool. To rearrange the whole file, use Organize PDF or Reverse PDF page order.

Common questions
How do I move the last page of a PDF to the front?
Choose your file. The last page becomes page 1, and the old page 1 goes to the end. If you only want the last page copied to the front, that is a different tool.
Is my PDF uploaded when I swap the first and last page?
No. Your file stays on your device and is never uploaded. You get one new file named swapped-ends.pdf, and your original is left untouched.
What happens if my PDF has only one page?
You get the same page back in a new file. With two pages, the two pages simply trade places.
Is it free to swap the first and last page?
Yes, it's free. No account, no daily limit, no watermark.
