How to print a PDF page as a poster on four sheets
This tool takes each page of your PDF and spreads it over four portrait Letter sheets, two across and two down. Print the four sheets and tape them together to make one big poster. The finished poster is 17 by 22 inches. Your page is enlarged to fill it and centered, and its shape stays the same. Nothing is stretched. The sheets come in this order: top left, top right, bottom left, bottom right. One page becomes four sheets, so five pages become 20 sheets. Text stays text. Comments and form fields are not kept. This is a good way to print a banner, a wall chart, a map or a sign when you only have a Letter printer. Most printers leave a thin white border on each sheet, so trim the edges a little before you tape. Use a PDF of one to five pages.
Choose a PDF with up to 5 pages. Press the button and download poster.pdf. Print it at 100 percent, with no scaling, so the sheets line up. Want four different pages on one sheet instead? Use 4 pages per sheet. Want to cut one page into a left half and a right half? Use Split PDF pages vertically.
A poster takes at most 5 pages. If your PDF has more, split out the pages you want first. There is no other limit, but very large files depend on your device's memory, so a huge file may be slow. It's free, with no account and no watermark.
